And reservations are now open
Via Riyadh is the stunning new destination in the Saudi capital for shopping, dining and entertainment. But if you’ve not already checked out this dazzling spot, there’s a new reason to go, as acclaimed London restaurant Scott’s is opening next month.
Scott’s Riyadh, the first restaurant from the celebrity-loved brand outside of London, is officially opening its doors from Sunday June 25. If you want to be among the first to dine there, you’ll be pleased to hear that reservations are now open. Initially, reservations are open for dinner only, with bookings from 6pm and 11pm.
Located on the ground floor of Via Riyadh, Scott’s promises to bring the old-world glamour of Mayfair to a sleek restaurant space in the heart of Riyadh’s most stylish new districts. Scott’s Riyadh outpost will pay homage to the Mayfair flagship restaurant’s aesthetic with a sophisticated yet warm ’40s elegance. The timber-panelled dining room with burgundy leather banquettes and dining chairs creates an impressive atmosphere, featuring silver leaf mirrored screens, a marble top with a stingray fronted bar, and walls adorned with artwork from some of today’s most celebrated British artists.
Just like the institution in Mayfair, this celebrity favourite will serve up the finest array of seafood, alongside various meat and seasonal game options. Oysters, served at Scott’s elegant oyster bar, are a house speciality – so we can only hope they make their way to Via Riyadh.
More restaurants opening soon at Via Riyadh
Alongside Scott’s, four more restaurants will add to the impressive dining options already serving guests at Via Riyadh when they open next month.
From Thursday June 15, you’ll be able to tuck into Yakinikumafia by Wagyumafia, which will serve up delectable premium Japanese flavours masterminded by self-taught chef-turned-wagyu expert Hisato Hamada and entrepreneur Takafumi Horie. The same date will also see Bianca, a relaxed bakery and restaurant beloved in LA; and Joan’s on Third, LA’s hottest speciality food market, welcome guests.
From Sunday June 18, guests will also be able to feast on the flavours of Gymkhana, London’s Michelin starred Indian restaurant renowned for its carefully curated menu of flavours from across India that offers a modern interpretation of renowned classics.
