Japanese brand Café Kitsuné is landing in Riyadh

The trendy café will be located in Laysen Valley.

It’s time to say Konnichiwa to Café Kitsuné in Saudi Arabia. The Japanese brand has gone from Tokyo to Riyadh, and is now opening in Laysen Valley. So, if you’re a coffee connoisseur, here’s what to grab your next cup.

Café Kitsuné prides itself on creating intimate cafés. The décor is all about minimalist beauty and boasts a clean, contemporary aesthetic. In Japanese, kitsune means fox and refers to the animals in traditional folklore that are believed to have supernatural powers.

The drinks at Café Kitsuné are famous for being full-bodied and flavoursome. It’s all about the smooth and syrupy textures, and the notes ranging from chocolate to grilled hazelnuts. The specialities include an Americano, Cappuccino, Cortado, Espresso, Dirty Chai, Flat White and Mochaccino. The menu also includes a selection of juices, teas, pastries and ice cream.

Previous branches have included interactive experiences and thematic workshops. If you like what you see, you can recreate the Café Kitsuné magic at home. Many of the cafés sell coffee beans in 100g, 250g and 1kg packets, and the cups, mugs and saucers.

Today, Café Kitsuné has gained a reputation for its speciality coffee. Branches can be found across the world in Bangkok, Beijing, Jakarta, London, New York, Pangyo, Paris, and Shanghai.

When Café Kitsuné opens in Laysen Valley, it will join an exciting line-up of restaurants and cafés. The existing venues range from the South African café Nooa to the Japanese restaurant Sumosan Riyadh. The upcoming venues include the Spanish concept Asador De Aenda to the Beirut brand Em Sherif Sea Café.

Happy sipping.
