Drake fans rejoice! Carbone, the Michelin-starred Italian restaurant from New York City, is opening its doors in Riyadh on November 1, 2023. The restaurant will be located in the Mansard Riyadh, A Radisson Collection Hotel, and will offer diners a taste of the same classic Italian dishes that have made Carbone a favorite among celebrities and foodies alike.
The menu at Carbone Riyadh is expected to feature the restaurant’s signature dishes, such as the spaghetti pomodoro with vodka sauce, the spicy rigatoni with meatballs, and the veal parmesan. The restaurant will also have a full bar, serving up classic cocktails and an extensive selection of Italian wines.
Carbone Riyadh is sure to be a hit with diners in the Saudi capital, offering a unique and luxurious dining experience. The restaurant’s opening is also a sign of the growing popularity of Saudi Arabia as a culinary destination.

Located in Greenwich Village, Carbone is famous for its grand dining experience, from shimmering chandeliers to white tablecloths. The restaurant was created by Mario Carbone, Rich Torrisi and Jeff Zalaznick. Plus, the concept pays homage to Italian American restaurants, which opened in the mid-20th century in New York.
Carbone was awarded a MICHELIN Star in 2014. Despite losing the star in 2022, it has remained in the MICHELIN Guide. Over the years, it has attracted A-list diners including Adele, Barack Obama, Jennifer Lopez, the Kardashians and Travis Scott.
The menu in New York spans antipasti, zuppa e insalte, macaroni, pesci, carni and contorni. If the New York signature dishes are anything to go by, we’re hoping the Riyadh restaurant serves Chicken Scarpariello, Linguini Vongole, Seafood Salad and Veal Parmesan.
Carbone has expanded across the world, and can also be found in Dallas, Doha, Hong Kong, Las Vegas and Miami. When it opens in Mansard Riyadh, A Radisson Collection Hotel, it will be in good culinary company. Carbone Riyadh’s neighbours include L’Ami Davé, Sadelle’s Riyadh and Pucho Cigar Lounge, which boasts cigars from the specialist supplier La Casa Del Habano.
