One of the founders of the Cubist movement, Spanish artist Pablo Picasso was and is internationally recognised as one of the most influential masters of modernism and surrealism in 20th century art. Picasso reshaped and pushed the boundaries of traditional art, and the interpretation of this art, and this immersive showcasing of Picasso’s work lends itself to the artist’s work.
Inviting guests to step into a multi-sensory environment that transcends conventional gallery settings, this immersive art exhibit brings a new and interactive element to a traditional art experience, giving new life to paintings and creations of the past.
Through the addition of music, video and changing projections on the walls, floors, ceiling and various 3D shapes in the room, this experience offers an ever-evolving form of artistic expression, immersive art experiences not only challenges the way we perceive and interact with art, but also creates unforgettable moments that linger in the minds of those who embark on these immersive adventures.
Organised by the Visual Arts Commission, the immersive ‘Imagine Picasso’ will showcase more than 200 pieces of Picasso’s work through projections and video. Visitors can wander, sit and lay down to enjoy the wonders of some of the most famous artistic creations in the world.
