We don’t always want to spend a our hard-earned riyals when going out. Sometimes, we want to enjoy the city without breaking the bank, especially when there are plenty of brilliant options. Admire art at Naila Art Gallery
Naila Art Gallery is one of the first art galleries to open in Riyadh. It’s at the top of our free things to do in Riyadh at night for culture vultures. Check out Deera Souq
When out on the hunt for some of the best markets in the city to enjoy, nothing quite hits the mark like this old city market. Deera Souq (also known as Al Thumairi Market) is located in the city’s oldest area, close to the Masmak Fort. Explore at the National Museum
Situated in close proximity to the Masmak Fort, the National Museum of Saudi Arabia has is filled with arts and culture across four exhibition halls. Each hall will transport you to various historic eras through ock carvings, prehistoric animals and even previously owned vintage cars of His Highness King Abdulaziz Al Saud. Other halls will give you a peek into ancient Arab civilisations as well as jewellery, murals, and portraits. That’s not all. Enjoy the outdoor walk areas and lakes while lounging on one of the many benches. It’s all free.

Get active in Wadi Hanifa

When looking for scenic views to enjoy, this outdoor space is usually in the mix. Check out new areas within the wadi, including the picturesque spot overlooking the lake.

Take a walk around the flower path at King Abdullah Park
The King Abdullah Walkway, also known as the Flower Path, is one of free things to do in Riyadh at night when you’re looking for an easy and enjoyable way to get your steps in after the sun goes down. The area also has a lush flower path and parks as well as an additional walkaway surrounding the first private university in the city, Prince Sultan University.
