The first of its kind in Saudi Arabia, AlUla Desert Blaze will test the endurance of the very toughest of runners. Taking place in August – the hottest month of the year – and even under the midday sun, the road race will push the limits of participants from all over the world. Distances include 5km, 10km, half marathon (21km) and an epic full marathon (42km).

Top-notch international athletes will be invited to participate in the more challenging routes, while non-pros are encouraged to run the shorter courses. Some of the routes will also pass through AlUla’s most iconic sites, taking runners on a journey through time linking the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Hegra with the modern wonder of Maraya. Medical and water support stations will also be set up at numerous points along the routes to help ensure the safety of participants.

Sign up and when you complete this challenging desert race you’ll receive a medal and an official online certificate with your finishing time.
