Ramadan Activities 2023

The Ministry of Culture in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia launched the activities of the Ramadan season 2023 in Jeddah. Cinema ( Ahl Awal)

Cinema (Ahl Awal) is available from 3 Ramadan and will last for 11 days, starting from 9 pm to 3 am. The Cinema event showcases the people of the first outdoor cinema in which the old Ramadan series are shown outdoors.

Ramadan Volleyball Championship

In the Ministry’s hall, which is located at Prince Abdullah Al-Faisal Stadium in Jeddah, the Ramadan volleyball championship event starts on 11 Ramadan and will last for 6 days. This is done through cooperation with the Saudi Volleyball Federation as well as the Ministry of Riyadh, with the participation of multiple categories in both Riyadh and Jeddah.

Islamic Arts Biennial

The (Islamic Arts Biennial) for the year 2023 is held in the pilgrims’ Hall at King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah. This is done throughout the holy month of Ramadan. The Islamic Arts Biennial event aims to enrich the experiences of pilgrims and pilgrims who come from all over the world annually. This is with the aim of exploring the cultural diversity of the Islamic world.

Markaz Al Balada

Ramadan Marquee and Markaz Al Balada, in the Markaz area in Jeddah you can wander and enjoy throughout the days of Ramadan with various events. These events include the Folk Games Markaz, the Artisans Markaz, the Artists Markaz, the Light Markaz, and the Gourmet Markaz. Exhibitions

Exhibitions for printing the Quran and the restoration of historical mosques that start on 10 Ramadan and continue until the end of Ramadan. In that event, the various Qur’an is printing from the era of Caliph Othman bin Affan – may God be pleased with him – until our current era. The stages of restoration of the most important mosques in Jeddah are also presented.

Jeddah History Exhibition, starts from 15 Ramadan until the end of the holy month. In it, the history of Jeddah is displayed through the ages. Through the information provided about its buildings, markets, and streets.

Stamps and Old Coins Gallery, which showcases the history of ancient coins and stamps for visitors from the 10th of Ramadan until the end of the holy month.
