Jeddah is well known for its immense number of malls; you never run out of places to shop. So we have narrowed the list down to the top 8 malls in J-Town and will let you decide for yourself which mall to head to this weekend

RED SEA

This is not only for those into shopping, but also for the history buffs. Yup, you read that right. The mall features a walk of history section where visitors can take a stroll down heritage lane. This section is embellished in traditional decorations and paintings of historical Saudi as well as boutiques that sell local items and dresses

Don’t worry the 242,200 square meter area encompasses a lot of stores ranging from high ends one like Burberry and Coach to mainstream ones like Centrepoint and H&M. Furniture stores are also available, HOM and Pottery Barn are ones to name. Red Sea even has an art gallery for anyone in the artistic mood, Gallery 1. You can also stay in the Elaf Jeddah Hotel, which is part of the mall.

This mall is perfect for families. One huge reason behind that is KidZania, the fun interactive place where children not only play, but also learn to develop their skills through a simulation of real life jobs.

Mall of Arabia is one of the biggest malls in Jeddah and includes almost all popular clothes and shoe stores like Zara, Debenhams and Forever21 along with more high end ones like Ted Baker, DKNY and a lot more. Aside from the food court, the mall also has cafés like Ferrari Café and dine in restaurants like Fridays and Simit Saray.

Al Serafi is perfect for those who have more than just shopping on their minds. The mall is mostly famous for its fun In10so arcade. In10so includes entertaining activities like carting, laser tagging and bowling. It is located on the mall’s top floor with the food court. Mega Mall also has an ice rink that was once used for skating but is now used for Bumper-Car-On-Ice rides.

The mall might not have the largest number of shops, but definitely has famous ones such as Victoria’s Secret, MAC and H&M. One of the famous dining areas over there is Mugg and Bean located on the lower floor.

Le Chateau is unarguably one of the most scenic malls in Jeddah. As its name suggests, the mall is built with an elaborate architectural design containing luxury brand names. The elegant open-air place contains well-known designer names like Versace, Kenzo, D &G kids and Pronovias.

Although it does not contain your typical food court area, it does encompass a variety of restaurants like Piatto, Quirinale and Steak House. Fun fact, Al Andalusia Dental Center is located inside Le Chateau.

Stars Avenue Mall

This mall is one of the luxury shopping destinations here in Jeddah. It combines both local talents with brand name designs. Stores ranging from Tiffany, Marc Jacobs, Tous and Rubaiyat (a place that seriously looks like an art installation due to the window displays) along with Maison BO-M, Cream and NewBury are available.

One of the mall’s attractions is Café Ceramique. The café does not only serve food, but offers the unique activity of painting on ceramique artifacts such as plates or mugs. If you are a big group and you are interested in creating pottery, they can give you a workshop. Other restaurants that serve delicious meals over there include Bharat and Olio.
