Catch a dolphin show at the Fakieh Aquarium
Head down to the Fakieh Aquarium to watch dolphins performances daily. Shows happen at 7.30pm and 9.15pm. You can see the dolphin show and explore the aquarium for SAR70. (The entrance ticket for just the aquarium is SAR55.) Kids under the age of two can enter the aquarium for free. Fakieh aquarium is the only public aquarium in Saudi, and while you’re there you can check out seahorses and sharks before your dolphin show. Don’t mind getting wet? There’s a splash zone.

Get your next adrenaline rush at Al Shallal Theme Park
Al Shallal Theme Park has a tonne of attractions and rides for the family to have a screaming good time. Go fully upside down on the Power Surge, experience free falling from a height of 35 metre on the Super-Shot, and accelerate to 100km/h on the Sling-Shot. You can head to the pirate ship for some fun swaying after screaming your lungs out on the roller coaster. The Tea Cups and Tour de France are fun rides for your little ones. You can get a wristband for SAR75 that gives you access to all rides except the zipline (SAR23), and the arcade (from SAR10).

The famous West Hollywood eatery is dishing up North Italian flavours in the Red Sea city and is one of the new restaurants at the Jeddah Yacht Club. Madeo is all about serving Italian flavours using fresh and locally soured ingredients. The Bufala ala Caprese is served with fresh heirloom, tomatoes and the classic margherita pizza is served topped with tomatoes, mozzarella and fresh basil. The Penne Madeo comes with parmigiana reggiano and the Risotto al Porchini is topped with fresh porchini mushrooms before being served.

Try your hand at kite-surfing in the Red Sea
Submit to the wind and waves on the shallow beach of the Red Sea. Using the wind to your advantage and speeding across the waves is not the easiest sport to get a hang of, but the thrill of mastering it is unlike any other. You can kite-surf on the Red Sea beach all year around except in December when the winds become unpredictable. You can buy the kiteboarding equipment online from Saudi Kiteboarding.

Head to the Jeddah Yacht Club and have a meal in the cabana of the Beach House. Enjoy boho vibes and stellar views. The new restaurant has a mixed menu of oriental and western foods, grills, pastries, and hot and cold drinks. The atmosphere is heightened with live music at night.

Check out the Corniche Circuit activities
The Jeddah Corniche Circuit has many activities for you during the off-season. When Formula 1 cars aren’t speeding around, it’s your turn to run, jump and more on the seaside track. The sporty events are free and suitable for friends and family. Every day from 5pm-10pm there are rotating events including cycling, rollerblading and running. You can also participate in Family Sports Days which are often wheel-chair friendly.
